Agility dogs are trained to jump, run, and weave their way through many different obstacles on the agility courses, but this discipline is not just about that. For example, there’s the beautiful bond between the dog and the human you are about to see.
This discipline requires the dog and owner to act like one and in order to make it happen, the relationship between these two has to be deep and strong, based on mutual trust.

However, her handler Val made sure to celebrate the ending of this awesome career in a beautiful and dignified way. Although Lakota moves slowly, and doesn’t do any jumps and moves that can hurt her joints, we can see that she still has the young spirit she had at the beginning of its career.
The hug at the end of this video warmed my heart. After all, in certain moments in our lives the only thing we need is just a firm hug from a friend. And this is definitely such a moment!
