When PETA activist Holly first found Cora she was chained in a backyard with four other Pit Bulls, and none of them had any food or water! What they discovered was that even though Cora had a collar, the owners tied the chain around her neck without actually using that collar. Due to this, the collar had cut the skin on her neck and made a wound which started to infect.
After she arrived at PETA offices everybody fell in love with her immediately! Two months of loving care and treatment later Cora was ready to go to a new home and start a new life. A life that she deserves!
Dog’s are very grateful creatures who know how to appreciate those who take care of them, and Cora is no different. Her reaction after seeing her new home was priceless!
