Just because big African cats are feared predators it’s hard to remember they’re just cats after all and share much of the same behaviors like our furry laser pointer obsessed friends. Meet Voodoo, a leopard who was, oddly enough, bought by a rich couple to be kept as a pet, but when the eccentric ex-owners figured out that it’s not an exotic breed of a domesticated cat they purchased, they quickly sent him to this sanctuary.
Just how much Voodoo loves it here you can tell by the familiar sound all cats make. Unlike your kitty’s purring, when leopards do it, it sounds less cute and more terrifying, as if he’s going to attack any second. Make sure you turn up your volume.
