This may sound like a usual stray dog rescue story but there is a twist at the end, so bear with us.
One day Hope for Paws received a call from steel yard workers in Compton about a family of dogs living on their property. Specifically, a mom and three puppies. When HFP arrived on the spot they immediately found the puppies but it took some time for them to locate the mom. Interestingly, the pooches had been living and hiding in the steel pipes. This meant that they had to lure the mom out of the pipe to catch her, which is what they ultimately did.
Catching the puppies was a bit more challenging though. The first puppy started to scream and panic because it had never had human contact before. The second one was easy to catch, but the third pup escaped on the road! After chasing him for a couple of minutes they caught him as well.
Now, get ready for the twist. At the hospital they realized that the puppies’ mom was actually their dad! He had been taking care of the pups all along! What a great dad!
The foster family decided to name the pooches after various pasta based products. The dad was named Wonton, and the pups became Noodle, Ravioli, and Macaroni. All of them are waiting to be adopted!
